UDS Nyankpal Campus Principal Sets Up Administrative Committee
The Principal of the Nyankpal Campus of the University for Development Studies (UDS), has constituted an Administrative Committee to update members on the governance of the campus.
According to a statement issued by the Principal's office, the committee is tasked with the responsibility of providing regular updates to members of the campus community on the governance and administration of the campus.
The committee, which is chaired by the Principal, includes Deans and Directors and Administrative Heads of the various Directorates and Departments.
Speaking to the members at its second meeting held on February 10, 2025, the Principal explained that the committee was set up to ensure transparency and accountability in the governance of the campus. The meetings are therefore scheduled to be held on monthly basis.
"We want to ensure that our stakeholders, including students staff, and the general public, are well-informed about the governance and administration of the campus," the Principal said.
The Principal added that the committee would also provide a platform for members of the campus community to provide feedback and suggestions on how to improve the governance and administration of the campus.
The constitution of the Administrative Committee is seen as a move to promote transparency and accountability in the governance of the Nyankpal Campus of UDS.
He reiteratef his commitment to foster an open administration whereone has a contribution to the growth and development of the campus and urge members to support him achieve this objective.
