Vice-Chancellor Welcomes Ecobank Delegation
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Seidu Al-hassan has received a delegation from Ecobank in his office at the Central Administration Block on the Tamale Campus.
According to the Head of Public Sector Banking, Ecobank, Mr. Abraham Adu-Kwarteng, who led the delegation, the visit was to congratulate Prof. Al-hassan on his appointment and to also explore more areas of collaboration between the bank and UDS.
He said the bank was committed to ensuring that the Vice-Chancellor achieved his vision for the University. Mr. Abraham Adu-Kwarteng, thanked the University for supporting the bank and gave the assurance that the bank would continue to deliver quality service to its customers on campus and provide them with innovative products that meet their needs.
For his part, the Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to the bank for the business it had been doing with the University over the years. He invited the bank to invest in the University by helping to provide infrastructure to accommodate the growing number of students.
The Ecobank delegation also included Mr. William Opare Addo, the Tamale branch Manager as well as other officials from the Tamale branch of the bank.
