UDS Responds To False Allegations Contained In A Press Conference Organised By The Group Known As 'Concerned Students Of The Sandwich Colleges Of Education'
The University for Development Studies, UDS has responded to a press conference organised by a group calling itself “Concerned Students of the Sandwich Colleges of Education. In a Press statement signed for the Registrar, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar by the Director of Public Affairs, Mr. Abdul-Hayi Moomen, the University described the press conference and the allegations reported in the media as “unfounded, false and a calculated attempt to manipulate minds and to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of the University and its hardworking staff”.
The statement spells out what it describes as “the facts of the matter” indicating that contrary to the allegations, “all outstanding cases concerning students of the Sandwich Colleges of Education Programme, particularly, in respect of certificates and transcripts, have been cleared”
