UDS IAAS Donates to Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences
The International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS) has donated tables and chairs to the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences to complement and facilitate the teaching and learning in the lecture halls.
The donation was made by the 2022/2023-year group to support the Faculty to address the furniture deficits in the Faculty. The President of the association Mr. Joshua Sulemana who presented the items on behalf of the Association, commended the tireless efforts of the faculty in making sure that students amidst the challenges, excel in their academic journey. He said the association will continue to support the Faculty to make significant progress in producing graduates for the job market.
The Vice Dean of the Faculty, Professor Abdul-Halim Abubakari received the donation on behalf of the Faculty. He expressed gratitude to the Association for their timely intervention in facilitating lectures. He said, this will go a long way to make teaching and learning smooth.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences, Professor Terry Ansah commended the executives and the entire Association for the support. He encouraged them to study hard and continue to make the Faculty and the entire university proud.
The SRC president, Mr. Abdul Mugis Musah called on other Associations in the university to emulate the example set by the IAAS.
Also present at the donation were the Faculty Officer Mr. Joseph S. Attiah, the Faculty Examinations Officer Dr. Mohammed Dawuda Mujitaba and executives of IAAS.
