The Registrar, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar, has announced for the information of members of the University Community that nomination is opened for the Pro-Vice-Chancellor position at the University for Development Studies.

In a circular, the Registrar says “Interested members from the ranks of Associate Professor to ‘Full Professor’ should pick their nomination forms from the Main Registry Office (Room 85, Central Administration) starting from Monday, October 2, 2023 to Friday, 13, October 2023.

The circular adds that the deadline for submission of the nomination forms is 4:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023.
The election date will be duly communicated to the University Community in due time.

The current Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Felix K. Abagale has served a two-year term which took effect on December 1, 2019, and is expected to end on November 30, 2023.

This means the position will be vacant from December 1, 2023, hence, the nomination in accordance with the university’s Statutes.
