Fifteen Senior Members of the University have been promoted to various ranks. In a circular, the Registrar, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar stated that the Governing Council, at its 102nd meeting held from Wednesday, February 28, 2024 to Saturday, March 2, 2024, accepted the recommendations of the Appointments and Promotions Committee, to promote fourteen (14) academic and one (1) administrative staff to the rank of Professors, Associate Professors and Deputy Registrar, respectively.

The individuals who have been promoted to the rank of Professors are;
