Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences Celebrates Record-Breaking Graduation Season

The Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences at the University for Development Studies is thrilled to announce an exceptional milestone in its academic journey. This year, an impressive 20 students graduated with First Class Bachelors Honours, marking a significant achievement for the faculty. Among these outstanding graduates, three students were awarded citations in recognition of their remarkable academic excellence, and each will receive a generous gift of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHȻ 500.00) to celebrate their remarkable accomplishments. The two best male graduating students in the faculty include Mr. Nanmang Ibrahim Abdul-Rahman and Abdul-Hamid  Alhassan with a Grade Point Average of 4.79  and the best female student, Miss. Najat  Sulemana obtained a Grade Point Average of 4.71.

This remarkable cohort of graduates represents the pinnacle of dedication, hard work, and intellectual prowess. Their success is a testament to the rigorous academic standards and supportive learning environment fostered by the faculty. Each graduate’s journey is a unique story of perseverance and passion for their field of study, and their accomplishments serve as an inspiration to current and future students.

The graduation ceremony, which took place on November 9, 2024, was a momentous occasion as the faculty celebrated these remarkable students. Family members, friends, and faculty members gathered to honour the graduates’ achievements and bid them farewell as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
